Our easy-going clients, an artist and a cardiologist, gave me creative freedom with their bathroom update. Their main goals were to remove the outdated wallpaper (which I jokingly called Willy Wonka lickable wallpaper because of the peaches on it), open up the small space as much as possible, and bring the design up to current times. We opted for a moody design with intricate blue-grey artistic tiles and elegant lighting. Notable changes included removing the vintage seashell sink and the busy wallpaper. This transformation in their single-family home resulted in a modern, stylish, and more spacious bathroom.
