My Childhood Lack of 'Home'
Ignited My Passion for Creating Them
Throughout my childhood, my family and I moved all over, never staying in one place for long. This transient lifestyle made it challenging to establish a sense of home, as I was unsure of how long we would remain in each location.
In my late 20’s, I started to learn the power of creating a home using the power of style, color, texture, lighting, and spacing. It had such a profound positive effect on me. This drove my passion for creating personalized spaces and helping others find that same sense of home, tailored to their unique style and needs.
At SJ Design + Build, a female-owned and queer-owned company, we're all about crafting spaces as unique as you are. As a one-stop shop, we’ll guide you through the design and build process, with skilled contractors and partners by our side.
